Lush: Comfort and Joy.

Lush Comfort and Joy
Hello again. Long time no speak I know but I've been super busy recently so I can only apologise. I'll update you all soon on what I've been up to but for now I wanted to review one of my favourite birthday presents that I got the other week. So on December 4th I turned 20 and my sister along with a few other treats got me a Lush bath set. Comfort and Joy is a super luxurious gift set which includes 4 relaxing products that are perfect for the cooler months. I don't usually get actual Lush bath sets because I only have a shower at home, but this set is perfect for anyone who still wants a pamper but doesn't have a bath at home to go for the whole hog of pamper products.

The first product in the set is The Comforter which happens to have one of my favourite Lush scents ever. If you've been missing the loss of the purple shower jelly like me then you may just love this shower cream as It has the same scent. Being a shower cream means this is like a super moisturising shower gel which happens to be the brightest pink shade ever. I think such a warm berry scent at this time of year is so lovely and that extra bit of moisture is much appreciated.

This next product seems to be getting a lot of hype at the moment and I completely get why. I'm generally not a fan of lavender scents just because they're generally quite strong, however the Twilight shower gel manages to get the perfect balance of lavender and malt which makes for a lovely sweet scent. I've been using this in the evenings after work and it is such a relaxing product. I've looked for this on the website and I can't find it so I'm not sure if you can get this individually in store anymore, but I'd definitely suggest keeping a look out for this one I highly recommend it.

This next product is an adorable block of the Reindeer Rock soap. Like The Comforter this soap has a gorgeous warm berry scent that I'm obsessed with at the moment. Generally I don't buy myself soap bars but receiving this in the Comfort and Joy kit has really made me love the control and lather you can get from a decent bar of soap. Using this product with The Comforter's scent makes for a really calming and uplifting shower and I really recommend the two as a cleansing pair as I've been loving using them both at the moment.

The final product in this set is an incredibly rich and nourishing body conditioner, which you put on after you've washed your body and rinse it off to leave you're skin feeling super soft and glowy. I like how I don't really need to moisturise post shower after using Ro's Argan Body Conditioner, however personally I cannot stand the smell of argan oil so I've given this to my mum. It's honestly one of the only scents that I really hate so it is a shame for me, but I do really love all the other products in this kit so I'm still a happy bunny and really grateful that my sister got me this set for my birthday.

Thank you so much for reading! What are your favourite Lush scents?
